Here at Garden Patch Farm, our primary purpose in raising food is for proper nutrition. We do our best to provide members with high quality Certified Naturally Grown produce, eggs, raw honey, and raw sauerkraut. All of our egg products are from animals that we raise in our pastures, as well as on certified organic grains. Many of the animals we've raised are either rare, heritage breeds, pure breeds, or breeds that are endangered in the wild. A side benefit to raising our own products the way Jehovah God intended is the exceptional taste. We are thankful to Him for giving us this one small way of enjoying life!

Tim, Heather and I believe Jehovah God has given humans the privilege of caring for the domestic animals and we at Garden Patch Farm take this responsibility very seriously. It is therefore important to us to deal with our animals in a very loving and patient manner. We expect no less from Farm Members that come and visit with them as well. More about us....

We hope you enjoy our site and can join us in our ventures in some small way...

Born the week of July 3rd, 2006: 3 kittens...Wapeka ("skillful"), Nashota ("twin"), and Boots (he has white boots on his paws). Wapeka and Nashota are American Indian names.

We still have Wapeka with us; in her last litter, July of 2008, she had 4 solid black kittens! We now have five cats that are good mousers and help keep these rodents out of our expensive chicken and geese feed! So far I call all of the four kittens "Babies." I can only get close to two of them to pet. The other two "Babies" are very shy and skittish--but I'm working on them! These Babies have been fed by me since very young so I could get close to them instead of them being feral. I feed them beef organ and meats, chicken organ and meats along with veggies that are cooked in my homemade broths. They also get a ration of raw cow milk a couple times per week, as a treat for them. As a result, they are very healthy and their coats are very shiny, eyes are bright as should be.

Consumer Note About Nutritious Food: Buying direct from your local, health-conscious farmer doesn't necessarily mean the food will be cheap.  Using natural methods is costly, labor intensive and time consuming for farmers. Additionally, most farmers are not rolling in the dough; they do need consumer business. They deserve a good price for a good product, wouldn't you agree? You have a choice: what would you rather do? Pay for quality food and have good health or pay the medical community and pharmaceutical companies when you and your family are in poor health from poor food?
