KOHLRABI/POTATO PATTIES
Trim
kohlrabies without peeling.
Cover stems with water, add 1/2 tsp
salt and butter if desired, and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and
boil gently until tender.
Stems from 1 1/2 to 2 inches will cook
tender in approximately 30 minutes.
After cooking, peel skin.
Mash kohlrabi ; mix with mashed potatoes, and add 1 beaten egg.
Form into patties and
fry in butter.
